a thank you

A time of giving, to my surprise I was on the receiving end last Saturday morning. When I opened a big boxed gift from the Yoga Born Community ~ I absolutely lost it! I was shocked beyond words…gratitude deeply overwhelmed me when I saw the jacket I’ve wanted from The Hempster in Northampton. With tears running down my cheeks Cheryl handed me one last gift ~ a VERY GENEROUS certificate to shop at Anthropology!

What an amazing surprise to receive holiday gifts from you! Words aren’t enough to express how touched I am by your generosity. You are totally awesome.

I look forward to you visiting during the hustle and bustle of the season.

Spiced Nuts ~ Recipe

I love this recipe from Terry Walters CLEAN FOOD cook book with a few of my own twists!

2 cups  almonds, pecans & walnuts
1 tbspn maple syrup
1 tbspn olive oil
1 tbspn spice of choice – cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, pumpkin pie spice

  • Preheat oven 350 degrees.
  • Combine syrup, oil, maple syrup and spice(s).
  • Add nuts, toss to coat and spread on parchment-lined cookie sheet.
  • Bake until lightly browned (about 20 minutes).
  • Remove from oven and set aside.
